The CALL Equipped 2018

Volunteers gathered at Park Place Baptist Church on February 10, 2018, for The CALL Equipped 2018. While enjoying a continental breakfast we heard updates with The CALL in Saline & Perry Counties. Some highlights included celebrating new foster & adoptive homes opened (19 families in 2017 and 11 more families in January 2018!!), opening The CALL Home, and adding an additional family visitation room.
We also heard from our volunteer Team Leaders as they shared how their team is serving with The CALL. Team Leaders also shared the needs with their team including:

• Additional volunteers to serve Saturday mornings in the foster care closet
• Gift baskets and other donations for the Changing Lives with Chocolate auction
• 2 hosts to serve on a Tuesday or Thursday one day (9 am-3 pm) per month with The CALL
• Church Advocates to share the mission of The CALL and equip within their church
• Additional volunteers to serve on the Hospitality Team
• Volunteers to help with filing at our local Department of Children & Family Services.
